ANNOUNCEMENTS

All Parishes:

There are (3) announcements for this Monday, April 20th:

  1. The central office will be closed from 1:00-3:00pm for a staff meeting.
  2. Morning Star Family Holy Hour will be at Sacred Heart Church, beginning at 5:45pm with the children’s concert, adoration, holy hour, and more.  All families are welcome.
  3. Bocce League sign-ups will be held at St. John’s Church Hall at 6pm for anyone interested in playing this year.

The Holy Name Society will be meeting on next Thursday, April 23rd at 6:00pm in the St. James Library.  New members are welcome!

 

St. James:

This Sunday, April 19th, we invite you to Coffee Hour in the Hall after the 8:00am Mass.  Our Prayer Shawl Ministry will be hosting.

 

St. Patrick:

To celebrate the conclusion of Religious Education, honor our sacramental students and graduating seniors, along with crowning Mary for the month of May, we will have a luncheon on May 3rd after the 11:00am Mass. Please sign up on the sheets located at both entrances by April 26th.

 

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament – Adoration is open Wednesdays from 9am until 7pm at Our Lady of Victory Chapel – St. James Church, Jamestown.  We are in need of Guardians of the Blessed Sacrament, especially during the hours of 1PM, 2PM, 4PM & 6PM.  If you are able to attend (1) hour weekly in Adoration so that others may come to pray throughout the day, please contact the central office at 716.487.0125. 

ALERT:  We want to alert everyone to something called “phishing scams.“  This is where someone impersonates our local priests.  The scammers usually send an email or text message asking for money or gift cards.  Please remember:  NO priest will EVER email or text you asking for money or gift cards.  If you’re ever unsure, please contact the CNIF Central Office at 716.487.0125 to verify.  Stay vigilant and protect yourself from fraud!
