Prayer for Our New Holy Father
Heavenly Father, we thank You for guiding Your Church and for blessing us with a new shepherd to lead us in faith. We lift up our Holy Father in prayer, asking that You grant him wisdom, strength, and a heart filled with compassion for all Your people.
May he be a beacon of hope, a voice for peace, and a servant of Your truth. Bless him with courage to uphold the teachings of Christ and grace to inspire the faithful. As he walks in the footsteps of St. Peter, may he always seek Your guidance and trust in Your divine plan.
Lord, strengthen him in moments of challenge, renew his spirit in times of weariness, and surround him with Your love and protection. May his leadership bring unity and joy to the Church, and may his service glorify Your name.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
