Pentecost is here! Sometimes the Easter season feels like a long journey, other times it passes in the blink of an eye. But today, we celebrate the powerful arrival of the Holy Spirit—the moment that transformed the disciples and ignited the Church.

Pentecost, meaning “fiftieth,” marks the day when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, filling them with divine wisdom and courage. It is a day of renewal, a reminder that the Spirit moves among us, guiding and strengthening us in faith.

So today, let’s open our hearts—Welcome, Holy Spirit! May this Pentecost bring inspiration, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. Happy Pentecost!

Along with this reflection on Pentecost, I’m sharing a letter from Bishop Fisher, offering his insights and blessings on this sacred day. May his words inspire and guide us as we welcome the Holy Spirit into our lives.”
